Sam Dilbeck is a native of Oklahoma. He graduated from Southwest School of Bible Studies in 1994 and from Amridge University in 2006, and is currently working towards his Master of Arts in the New Testament at Freed-Hardeman University.

Brother Dilbeck has additionally done formal and informal training in communications, mass communications, radio and television production, and chemical and life sciences. He is an accomplished graphic designer and is well known for his work in presentation media.

He and his wife Julie have been working with the University Church of Christ in San Marcos, Texas since 2022. They have two sons, Jason (1995) and David (1998).
